CAREER

Since Chef Francesco Munafo began his career in the culinary field in 2008 at the age of 19 years old has been known for his unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. Thanks to his 2-year training with chef Domenico Vaccarino and his collaboration with other great Italian chefs, he acquired many skills and a large amount of knowledge. Looking for a new challenge, chef Francesco left Italy and moved to Melbourne to lead a multicultural kitchen. Not yet satisfied, he used the Australian hub as a base to expand his research of new flavour combinations, and decorations to other cities of the world, in particular:

1) Tokyo is famous for its detailed patisserie and cousin.
2) Paris is well known for its long history of fine food.
3) London, the English capital home of traditional recipes.
4) Seoul with its tasty and exciting food scene.
5) Kuala Lumpur with its unique combination of sweet, sour, rich and spicy.
6) Bangkok with its wide range of styles from bbq to stir fry, curries to spicy salads, soups to steamed dishes and porridge to crispy insects.


During his career, chef Francesco developed relationships with a few Australian culinary schools, training students during their work placements. Fascinated by the learner's enthusiasm for food, he decided to become a Hospitality Trainer and Assessor to try to pass on everything he learned.

Chef Francesco Munafo considers himself an excellent chef and trainer because he never stops learning so he can really understand the student's needs.
